Mary Idongesit Umossoh is a seasoned voice coach, music educator, and consultant with over 15 years of experience in teaching voice, piano, and violin. A dynamic performing artist and dedicated academic, she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology at Lagos State University. Her areas of specialization include vocal performance and music education, with a strong emphasis on preparing students for international music examinations.

Mary’s pedagogical approach blends traditional music education with modern technology, aiming to cultivate well-rounded and versatile musicians. She is deeply committed to making high-quality music education accessible while promoting and preserving African musical heritage on a global scale.

Academically, Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Lagos and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). She has also received advanced musical training from the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON). Her qualifications further include a Merit award in ABRSM Grade 8 Singing, Suzuki Violin Teacher Training Certification, and the IC3 Digital Literacy Certification.
